I am training for the 2024 Olympics

Now that I have a lot of free time, I decided to watch all of the available YouTube. In celebration of the recent 2021 Olympics, marketed as 2020 Tokyo Olympics, I started with the following clips:

As with any Youtubing – my watching session quickly evolved to: “Ridiculous Sports That Used to Be Part of the Olympics.”

Funny, crazy and outrageous knocked me back into real life where people are three dimensional, live, breathe and do most wonderful and amusing things. In my opinion many of these wonderful and amusing things are worthy of becoming an Olympic sport. Therefore, I am planning to petition the IOC to include People Watching in 2024 Paris Olympics. Frankly where else would there be a better place to compete in People Watching?!?!?

Before we begin this competition, we shall agree how the sport of People Watching should be judged? For example, are we judging the watchers or the watchees? Is there a time limit to the event? What is the scale or point system? Are there penalties, etc.?

For the purpose of our initial exercise, I propose to keep this super simple:

1 hour event
Watchers not the watchees are the competitors
They shall be stationary (sitting on a park bench, café, bar …)
Each watcher submits three entries and the points are awarded for uniqueness
10 point scale, points can be taken off as penalties
A human must be present in each submission max 5pts
Funny animals get extra max 2pts
Objects of unusual type max 3 points
Keep it clean! The Olympics are a family affair.
Doping is allowed and, in some states/countries even encouraged.

Here are my three entries:

Entry #1: There is no “hemlet” law in Florida:

Scoring:
4 points for the human subject – special human who needs a service dog
2 points for the animal – that is one cool pup on the bike
1 point for the bike – nothing special about the bike

Total: 7 points

Entry #2: Protect dog’s eyes from the UV

Scoring:
1 point for the human subject – we know one is in the picture but we cannot see much
2 points for the animal – the coolest thing ever!
3 points for the sun glasses and the carrier

Total: 6 points

Entry #3: If you cannot bike – you can trike

Scoring:
4 points for the human subject – one for the lady plus extra for spectators in the picture
0 points for the animal – what animal!
1 point for the trike – kind of a pretty neat idea
Total: 5 points

I am not a WordPress expert but if I was, I would have a fancy scoring template – as I am currently pretty ignorant in the ways of WordPress –
